Running in Marbella. Why it is a good city to run with people.

Where to run in Marbella. The routes the groups use most.

When to run.

How to choose your run club in Marbella.Three things to look at before your first run.

The pace

Look at the pace on each run before you sign up. Social runs usually go at a chatting pace, and clubs that split into pace groups let you start in the slowest and move up.

The day and the meeting point

The club you keep going to is the one that meets on a day you can make, near where you live or work. Check the weekly schedule and meeting points on this page.

The atmosphere

Some clubs train for races and others run to meet people and finish with a coffee. Go to a free run first: most clubs let you try without becoming a member.

Questions.Running in a group in Marbella.

Yes. Most social runs are conversational pace and many clubs split into pace groups so nobody runs alone. The pace is shown on each run before you sign up.

The most used routes are Paseo Marítimo hasta Puerto Banús, Senda litoral hacia el este and Sierra Blanca. You will find each of them described on this page.

Media Maratón de Marbella (finales de septiembre). Many run clubs prepare them together in the weeks before.

Open the run, tap sign up and, if it is paid, pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or card. You get a QR code with your spot, which the club scans when you arrive. It works from the Kibi app and from the browser.
