About Kibi

Kibi is the sign-up and payments platform for run clubs and community races in Spain. We make it in Altea, Alicante.

What Kibi is.

Kibi is a sign-up and payments platform built for group running. Run clubs, running clubs and community race organisers publish their training sessions, group runs, events and races, take sign-ups and membership fees, and check runners in with a QR code. Runners find run clubs and races near them and sign up from their phone.

It works on iPhone, Android and the web, with nothing to install to sign up. It is not a training or GPS app: it does not record your runs, although it connects with Strava to attach the ones you already recorded.

How Kibi makes money.

With a 5% fee on paid activities, added to what the participant pays and shown before they confirm. The club receives the full price it set. What is free is free for everyone, and there is no monthly fee and no set-up cost. Some advanced features, such as email marketing, are part of Kibi PRO, which has its own fee.

Questions about Kibi.

For runners, yes: the app is free and you only pay what the activity or race you sign up for costs. For clubs there is no monthly fee and no set-up cost, and what is free is always free. Paid activities carry a 5% fee paid by the participant.

Nothing to sign up and nothing each month. When a club charges for an activity, the 5% fee is added to what the participant pays, so the club receives the full price it set, in its own bank account.

Yes. At web.kibiapp.com you can sign up and pay without installing anything, and clubs have a desktop dashboard to manage activities, members and payments. The iPhone and Android app adds notifications, the ticket in your phone wallet and the QR scanner.

Yes. Distances are ticket types, the T-shirt is an extra, and there is a sign-up form, limited places, a waiting list and a QR per runner for bib pick-up. Kibi does not do timing: it exports the list of runners for whoever does.

Strava records and shares your training. Kibi organises the group runs and races: sign-ups, payments, places and check-in. They work together: you can connect Strava in Kibi and attach the runs you already recorded.

WhatsApp is for talking, not for knowing who is coming, taking payments or checking people in. On Kibi every run has its own link, with who signed up, who paid and the attendance list. Many clubs keep their group chat and share the Kibi link there.

All over Spain: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, Murcia, Seville, Málaga, Zaragoza and many more. The full list, place by place, is at kibiapp.com/running/espana.
